If you want something different from spending the whole evening in the same restaurant, an alternative for you could be a Bacaro tour, an opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Eve as a native Venetian. This includes enogastronomic specialties for all tastes, and good wine to be enjoyed inside the famous “bacari”, small osterie known for their “ciccheti” (small plates) and  “ombre” (small glasses) of wine.

We recommend starting your tour from the areas of Santa Croce or Cannaregio, and, as midnight approaches, heading towards the main square of Venice, St. Mark’s Square, where celebrations take place.
