Every day, St. Mark’s Square welcomes thousands of tourists eager not to miss a single photo of the wonderful Basilica, and the famous Doge’s Palace.

The beautiful Salotto del Mondo is the main center of Venice and for this reason, on the night of December 31st, it is crowded with people ready to celebrate together the arrival of the New Year.

People will be waiting for the stroke of midnight of Clock Tower that dominates the whole square from above: the incredible fireworks show will begin right on time and it will illuminate the St. Mark’s dock. However, there is another possibility to enjoy the show: it’s also possible to enjoy the fireworks from the water, aboard a private water taxi or – even better – aboard a gondola.
