LIMINALE

LIMINALE

“Liminale” is the title chosen for a constellation of works that, through diversified techniques and materials, establish a common and linear dialogue.

The underlying concept of the six works focuses on scenarios, places, or periods that belong to our everyday life and that are often taken for granted and/or ignored because of today’s frenetic pace.

Landscapes, seasons, the habitat that surrounds us, or simply transitional places that host a continuous flow of movement without rooted presences.

With these recently conceived works, the artist Daniel Rossi (1985, Vicenza) seeks a visual representation capable of portraying these concepts and places, transforming them into safe oases where one can rediscover oneself.

Daniel Rossi graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bremen and Vienna, studying in the classes of Erwin Bohatsch and Stephan Baumkötter.

He was awarded a scholarship by the “Cusanuswerk” foundation, which supported his Master’s degree in Fine Arts, and also received the prestigious “Georg Meistermann Stipendium” award.

He has participated in several collective and solo exhibitions in institutions such as Kunst Museum Bonn, Deichtorhalle Hamburg, Kunsthalle Chemnitz, Galerie König Berlin, Museum Weserburg Bremen, Museum Wiesbaden, Kunstverein Lüneburg, and his works have been acquired by the collection of the State Galleries of Bremen (Städtische Galerie Bremen).

He currently works with the K-strich gallery in Bremen.
